If you’re looking for somewhere to head out this Hallowe’en night, slap on that ghoulish face paint and head over to the Three Minute Theatre in Manchester’s quirky Northern Quarter for a night of hair-raising entertainment at “Frankstein’s Theatrical Laboratory”.
The evening is set to include a diverse range of Hallowe’en themed acts from various companies and theatrical folk in the region, including scenes from brand new spooky plays, phantom themed poems, shockingly good singers, horrifically good short films and superb hosting by Peter Slater’s creation “Sir Randolph Tempest” (check out the video below).
Acts taking part in the evening include the extremely talented singer-songwriter Chloe Jones (Voice of McDonalds UK), actor/comedian Peter Slater (Sir Randolph Tempest), New Live Theatre Company (showcasing new play ‘Spook Manor‘, featuring actors Hazel Mrozek, Pat Brocklehurst and Christopher Graham, entertainer Rod Barry, playwright Mick Cooper of My Beating Heart Theatre Company and actor Stevie Helps.
The theme of the evening is Halloween storytelling and fancy dress is encouraged to get everyone in the swing of the evening! The 3MT Venue, run by ex-cabaret entertainers and lecturers Gina Frost and John Topliff, often plays host to some of the regions most creative new performers, including musicians, sell-out theatre premieres, book launches, actor showcases and is also available to hire for private functions with a fully stocked bar. If you haven’t had the chance to visit before, this is the perfect opportunity to get yourself down to this theatrical hub of activity located in Manchester’s popular and notoriously creative Northern Quarter.
